๐ฑ Growing the Next Generation of Leaders: 2026 Youth Leadership Applications Now Open
February 3, 2026
Across Nebraska, young people are already leadingโin their schools, families, and communities. When they are given space to reflect, connect, and grow alongside peers, that leadership deepens and expands. At the Snow-Redfern Foundation, we are honored to support that growth through meaningful leadership experiences rooted in trust, curiosity, and community.
Applications are now open for the 2026 Root2Rise and Young Men Rising Youth Leadership cohorts, two six-week, virtual programs designed for Nebraska high school seniors. Both programs begin in September, and applications are due April 15.
๐ฟ About the Programs
Root2Rise (for young women) and Young Men Rising (for young men) are small, discussion-based cohort experiences that focus on leadership development, self-awareness, communication, and purpose. Rather than lectures, students engage in guided conversations, peer learning, and mentorship with Nebraska leaders who bring both lived and professional experience.

๐ How You Can Support a Young Leader
Parents, educators, counselors, and community partners play an important role in helping young people recognize opportunities that align with their strengths and aspirations. We invite you to share this opportunity and encourage students who would benefit from a supportive, values-centered leadership experience to apply.
