Leadership Programs

Purpose

• Leadership programs aim to boost youth as future leaders, exploring sociocultural factors affecting our world today.
• These programs include a scholarship earned after the completion of cohort learning series of seven virtual workshops

People

• These programs target high school seniors who plan to pursue advanced education, trade certifications, associate degree or a bachelor’s degree.
• Applicants can apply for either the Young Men’s Leadership or Root2Rise (young women).

Process

• Juniors in high school apply for one of the programs which launches during senior year. Participants will earn $2,000 upon completion.
• Grant timeline:
  • Application period: February 1 – March 15
  • Award date: April 15
  • Program occurs Sept -Dec
